The venue for the Boys in Greens away Euro 2024 qualifier against France has been confirmed.

Stephen Kenny's side will travel to the French capital, Paris, to take on the World Cup runners-up in Parc des Princes on Thursday, September 7.

Les Bleus normally play their home fixtures at the Stade de France which holds 80,000 spectators but due to the Rugby World Cup starting on September 8, the qualifier has been scheduled to be played at PSG's 48,000-seater stadium (French Football Federation).

Ireland were unlucky not to come away with a draw when Didier Deschamps' team travelled to Dublin for March's Euro 2024 qualifier. Benjamin Pavard's powerful strike was the difference between the two countries at the Aviva Stadium.

Greece are up next for an Irish team that will aim to pick up their first points of the campaign on June 16.
