Ireland's women's captain has continued to impress football fans with her latest "scorching" goal setting social media alight.
Katie McCabe is currently trending on X (formerly Twitter) after her incredible shot from a distance flew into the right hand corner of the net during Ireland's Womem's Nation's League match against Hungary yesterday (September 26).
McCabe's goal was the second of the match after Caitlin Hayes scored the first on just her second appearance.
Subsequent goals by Kyra Carusa and Denise O'Sullivan secured a 4-0 win for Ireland.
It's the second win for Ireland since the exit of former coach, Vera Pauw.
Katie McCabe has caught the Hungarian keeper napping and made it 2-0 Ireland with a sorching strike from distance. #RTESoccer

If you’re one of the people who vilified the likes of Katie McCabe & Diane Caldwell for speaking out on the need for a change of management, how are you feeling right now? Two games, two wins and 7 goals? Not a bad justification https://t.co/V0MUFXAL7M
