South Co Dublin national lottery player wakes up  €294,363 better off

A National Lottery player in south county Dublin is waking up €294,363 better off today after matching five numbers and the bonus in Wednesday night’s Lotto draw. The lucky ticket was bought on the day of the draw at the An Post post office on Main Street in Shankill, Co. Dublin.

On the day that the National Lottery are celebrating its 32nd birthday, Lotto officials are today encouraging its players in Dublin to check their tickets to see if they have won this tidy sum. This winner fell just one number short of scooping the €3,753,612 jackpot which now rolls to an estimated €4 million on Saturday night.

The winning numbers were 01, 18, 19, 25, 26, 42 and the bonus was 09.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “While the National Lottery officially celebrates its 32nd birthday, there could be even bigger celebrations underway for one lucky Dublin player who scooped the €243,959 prize in last night’s Lotto draw. We are encouraging all of our players who may have bought a ticket in Shankill to check their numbers. If you are this lucky person be sure to sign the back of the ticket and call the National Lottery claims team on 01 836 4444 and we will arrange for you to collect your prize.”
