Kildare County Council National Bike Week set to take place this month

Kildare County Council National Bike Week 2024 takes place from May 11 to 19, 2024, in County Kildare.

A celebration of cycling, and its benefits - physical exercise, enjoying our natural and local heritage and promoting sustainable transport.

Kildare County Council Active Travel & Kildare Sports Partnership in collaboration with the National Transport Authority have organized a variety of events to be held throughout County Kildare during Bike Week 2024.

The cycle events for Bike Week 2024 in County Kildare will include:

  • Narraghmore Leisure Cycle
    Time: 10am -12pm
    Date: Saturday 11/05/24
    Location: Narraghmore Village Centre
  • Barrow Blueway Nature Cycle
    Time: 2pm- 4pm
    Date: Saturday 11/05/24
    Location: Lock 22 Feighcullen towards Rathangan on Barrow Blueway
  • Moone to Crookstown Heritage Cycle
    Time: 11am- 1pm
    Date: Sunday 12/05/24
    Location: Moone Village to Crookstown
  • Monasterevin Leisure Cycle
    Time: 6.45pm-8.45pm
    Date: Thursday 16/05/24
    Location: Monasterevin to Fisherstown
  • Athy Leisure Cycle
    Time: 11am – 1.30pm
    Date: Saturday 18/05/24
    Location: Barrow Blueway, Athy to Vicarstown
  • Maynooth Leisure Cycle
    Time: 9.30am -11am
    Date: Sunday 19/05/24
    Location: Maynooth to Kilcock
  • Naas Leisure Cycle
    Time: 12.30pm – 2.30pm
    Date: Sunday 19/05/24
    Location: Naas to Sallins Bypass to Sallins
