New Newbridge based soccer club has been set up
There has been new soccer club set up in Newbridge, Newbridge Rovers AFC. The newly formed club announced on their Facebook and Instagram pages that they were looking for players from across Kildare to join in.
The club said, "We also want to bring the community together as much as possible as part of our project here at Newbridge Rovers AFC, so all support is welcome."
The club who refer to themselves as 'Rovers' offered contact information for anyone looking to get involved in any way across playing and supporting. Chairman Daragh Murtagh explained that been he has been involved in management for eight years and wants to try something new in Newbridge with this team.
