AHL: Kildare open impressively against Carlow

Kildare opened their Allianz Hurling League (Division 2A) impressively this  afternoon at Netwatch Cullen Park Carlow, defeating the home side by all of 13 points.

It was a very impressive display by David Herity's side,  particularly in the second half.

Kildare led at at the break while not playing anything up to their recente form, yet led by 0-10 to 0-6.

However in the second half they opened up, stepped up their game coniderably and with James Burke in top form (11 points in total) they certainly put down an early marker in this Division 2A contest.
