The Kildare Intermediate Camogie panel have shared their 'distress and anger' having been withdrawn from the All-Ireland Championship by the County Board.

In a statement released by the Gaelic Players Assosciation, the squad shared details of their dispute with the Board regarding failure to fulfill an agreed charter.

The details of which included access to showers and changing rooms after training, as well as disagreement over the decision to not allow Kildare senior inter-county players to play for their respective clubs sides, even at the discretion of their manager.

The decision was relayed to the squad last Friday over Whatsapp.

The intermediate championship is due to get underway later this month and Kildare are scheduled for group games with Cork, Dublin, Kilkenny and Galway.

You can read the full letter below that was released by the Gaelic Players Assosciation on behalf of the Kildare Intermediate Camogie panel.

The Leinster Leader has reached out to the Kildare Camogie County Board for comment regarding this issue.
