At the signing of the naming rights of St Conleth's Park, seated John Bradley, Country Manager of Cedral, and Mick Gorman, Chairman Kildare Co. Board

Cedral, formerly known as Tegral, have been awarded the naming rights for the re-vamped St Conleth's Park, Newbrige stadium, which is presently undergoing a €16m revamp that will include a new 3,000 seater stand, floodlights, new dressing rooms and ancillary facilities. The capacity of the new stadium will be 12,000.

The announcement was made this afternoon, Friday May 19 at St Conleth's Park, Newbridge.

Mick Gorman, Chairman Kidare Co. Board and John Bradley, Country Manager of Cedral, expressed their delight with the deal which will run for 15 years, with a built-in inflation clause.

Formerly under the brand name of Tegral, Athy based Cedral web site states "we are Ireland's most experienced company when it comes to roofing and slates and are proud to have been putting roofs over heads for decades.

"As part of the global building materials group Etex, our residential range of products now unites worldwide under the Cedral brand, where our mission is to build more beautiful worlds."

Tegral sponsored Kildare for 19 years, one of the longest serving GAA sponsorships at the time, and when it ended back in 2013 Brady Family stepped in and the Kildare based food firm has been shirt sponsors, and much more, at all levels of Kildare GAA, that include football, hurling, camogie and Ladies football, ever since.
