Milltown have been crowned Leinster Junior Champions following a dramatic win over Glyde Rangers in Manguard Park. Holding a one-point lead five minutes into the second half, Milltown were reduced to 14 men when Aaron Jacob was sent off for a high tackle.
The Kildare side would hold onto the lead and onto the lion's share of possession as they closed out for victory in this game. A superb Patrick Donohoe point gave Milltown a two-point buffer on 60 minutes, before Donohoe set up Declan McKenna for a last-minute goal into an empty net to make sure there was no doubt as Milltown achieved Leinster Championship glory.
