Naas CBS booked their place in the last eight of this season's Leinster PPS Senior 'A' Bro Bosco Cup quarter-final with a comprehensive victory over Patrician Newbridge at Manguard Park this afternoon.

On a bitterly cold day, Naas, playing with the aid of the strong wind, led by a single point at the break, 1-5 to 2-1 but looked in big trouble. Patrician had goals from Harry Redmond and Eoghan Dunne with Daniel Hamill replying.

However on the resumption Naas CBS side took control against all the odds and totally dominated the half despite playing against a wind that was close to gale force, hitting five second half goals winning in the end 6-10 to 2-3, their goals coming from Liam O'Connor, Dara Cook, Daniel Hamill, Evan Gilmartin and AJ Jordan.

In anothehr last sixteen game played today St. Peter’s College  defeatedd Good Counsel College 2-8 to 1-7.
