Milltown were beaten well as the curtain came down on an incredible year for the Kildare Junior Champions with defeat to Arva. The Cavan side were much the better team for large swathes of this semi-final and there was little jeopardy involved for the Ulster men throughout, barring a brief blip 10 minutes into the second half.
The Milltown purple-patch came after Arva 'keeper Cian O'Hora's howler reduced the gap to four points on 40 minutes.
The best side won on the day as Arva re-assumed control from their to secure their place in an All-Ireland Junior Club final.
