Naas CBS into Leinster 'A' semi-final with impressive win over Knockbeg College
Leinster Senior Football ‘A’ Quarter Finals
Naas CBS 1-13
St Mary’s Knockbeg 0-6
It was a commanding performance from Naas CBS as they cruised past St Mary’s Knockbeg and into a Leinster 'A' semi-final. Knockbeg showed early promise, but that initial momentum was soon stunted by some exceptional CBS shooting from range.
After conceding the first score, the Naas school hit eight points without response.
At 0-10 to 0-3 at half-time, there was little hope for Knockbeg and what little there was soon removed when Cathal McCarthy converted a penalty just after half time to make the game 1-10 to 0-4.
An impressive showing from the winning side all in all as they march on.
