Leinster Senior Football Championship Round 3
Kildare 3-3
Laois 0-10
Kildare ladies got their first win of their Leinster Senior Football against Laois. The much-changed Lilies were propelled past their neighbours in large part thanks to two brilliant goals from Holly Tyrell.
On both occasions, the Rathcoffey forward used her pace to get away from her opposite number and finish excellently off her laces.
Diane O’Hora made 11 changes for this game with the league final places already decided. The Lilies now have a break until June 8 or 9 before the All-Ireland Senior Championship gets under way.
Kildare, Holly Tyrell 2-0, Leah Doran 1-0, Aoife Rattigan 0-2 (0-1 frees), Sarah Munnelly 0-1.
