Caragh have been crowned AIB Leinster Club Intermediate Football champions following a brilliant five point win over Dublin champions Naomh Mearnóg at Parnell Park this afternoon.

It was a magnificent second half from Michael Browne's side that saw them get over the line after a tough game but well contested game.

Caragh led at the break with keeper Michael Behan the main man having made a brilliant save from a Karl Lynch Bissett penalty.

Caragh went three clear after 35 minutes before the Dublin boys came back to reduce the lead to a single point on 48 minutes.

But Caragh came again hitting five points to secure the Leinster title with man-of-the match Jake Corrigan outstanding in that second half, ,hitting four points, all from play and five in total.

A great win for the Kildare champions who now play Crossmolina Deerovers of Mayo in the All-Irealnd semi-final
