Soccer: Kildare student stars in Ireland's international win

Ireland's schools soccer team made it a clean sweep with wins over England, Scotlan and Northeren Ireland, winning ther Bob Docherty Cup while also taking home the John Reed Cup in the head-to-head win over England.

Naas student, Ruby Boland, from Gaelcholàiste Chill Dara, was named Ireland player in the four day tournament.

Richard Berkley (manager) praised the standard of football played as his team brought home the silverware in impressive style The 18 players from schools  all over Ireland were a credit to their schools and their parents.
Ruby was awarded the accolade and certainly did her teamates, country,  school and family proud.
