Clane booked the place in the UPMC SHC B final after defeating Naas at Manguard Park, Hawkfield, this evening (Thursday 11 September).

The opening half was fairly evenly contested affair before a goal from Cian Shanahan in 29 minunte put a bit of daylight between the sides as the boys in white led at the break 1-8 to 0-8.

And it was Clane all way on the resumption hitting five points on the trot before Naas replied with a point.

With Paddy McKenna in sparkling form, hitting an impressive 11 points in total, Clane booked their place in the final, despite a late Naas goal, and a meeting with Leixlip on a final score line of Clane 1-17 Naas 1-13.
