Kildare GAA: Naas never troubled by Coill Dubh

Naas had little difficulty in reaching another county senior hurling final as they chase win no. 7 on the trot with a comprehensive victory over Coill Dubh at Cedral St Conleth's Park, Newbridge, this evening.

While it was 0-4 apiece after 13 minutes (all frees) once Simon Leacy got the opning goal of the game, quickly followed by a second from Fionn Maher, Naas went on to lead at the break 3-8 to 0-5.

The second half continued along expected lines with Naas addding a further 2-10 while Coill Dubh could only add two points with the final score reading Naas 5-18 Coill Dubh 0-7, Jack Sheridan to scorer for Naas with 2-11;

Scorers: Naas, Jack Sheridan 2-11 (10 frees, penalty), Fionn Maher 2-0, Simon Leacy 1-0, Brian Byrne 0-3, Cian Boran 0-2, Evan O'Brian 0-1, Ferran O'Sullivan 0-1.

Coill Dubh, Mark Delaney 0-3 (3 frees), Declan Flaherty 0-2 (2 frees), Colm Gordon 0-1, Johnny Byrne 0-1 (free).
