Massive weekend for Kildare Football Clubs as Sallins and Grangenolvin, are in action with a place in the AIB Leinster Intermediate Club and Leinster Junior Club All-Ireland finals respectively, at stake.
Sallins take on An Ghaeltacht of Kerry in Pairc Uí Chaoimh, Cork, on Saturday with a 1.15 throw-in; while up in Rathkeale, Limerick, Grangenolvin will play their Kerry counterparts, Ballymacelliogot with a place in the final also up for grabs.

And the action doesn't stop there with Kildare footballers opening their O'Byrne Cup account, a visit to Enniscorthy to take on Wexford, also on Saturday, while on Sunday it is the turn of the senior hurlers, who open their Walsh Cup campaign with a home game at Cedral St Conleth's Park, Newbridge; both games previews.
Rugby: Massive day for Newbridge RFC on Sunday when they defeated local rivals, Cill Dara, to bridge a 12 year gap and take home the Hosie Cup, while club stalward, Ollie Delaney was the recepient of the prestigious Devan Toner Perputal Trophy for 2025.
