UFC Featherweight champion Conor Mc Gregor has begun High Court proceedings against the Sunday World newspaper following a story on they published last month which gave details about his home in Kildare. Mc Gregor, who says that he still values his privacy very highly, will launch proceedings to take an article giving vivid details of his new home in Straffan taken down off the internet. The story featured pictures of four luxury cars outside the house, claiming that Mc Gregor had spent hundreds of thousands on cars such as a Mercedes S Class Coupé, a Cadillac Escalade, a Range Rover and a BMW i8. There was also a close up picture that leered in a window of his home and caught part of his trophy collection. Last week, Ivor Fitzpatrick solicitors filed a breach of privacy action seeking damages on Mc Gregor's behalf in the High Court.
