Newbridge man Heaslip handed Leinster captaincy for Pro12 final as Nacewa is ruled out

Leinster will be without two of their most experienced players for their Pro12 final showdown with Connacht in Edinburgh tomorrow evening as Devin Toner and Isa Nacewa have been ruled out. Captain and leading tryscorer Nacewa misses out to an arm injury that he sustained in last weekend's victory over Ulster at the RDS, while lock Toner will not be involved in the matchday squad due to personal issues. That means that Rob Kearney comes back into the side at full-back, while young second row prodigy Ross Molony starts alongside Mick Kearney. The loss of Nacewa means that Newbridge schooled number 8 Jamie Heaslip captains the side from the back of the scrum, although Suncroft man Fergus McFadden misses out on a place in the squad. Tomorrow also represents the last time that Ian Madigan and Ben Te'o represent the province as both players are due to move abroad next season.

Leinster side to face Connacht:

15. Rob Kearney 14. Dave Kearney 13. Garry Ringrose 12. Ben Te’o 11. Luke Fitzgerald 10. Jonathan Sexton 9. Eoin Reddan 1. Jack McGrath 2. Richardt Strauss 3. Mike Ross 4.
