Kildare handball duo Leah and Molly land All-Ireland doubles title

Kildare duo Molly Dagg and Leah Doyle enjoyed a fine day on the handball court yesterday as the girls captured an All-Ireland title in commanding fashion. The pair overcame Clare counterparts Brídin Dinnane and Catriona Millane in the Minor All-Ireland 40x20 Doubles Championship in Kingscourt, Co Cavan, on Saturday. They breezed through the first game in the best of three decider, winning 21-4, before pressing home their authority in the second game and winning 21-11. https://twitter.com/KildareGAA/status/982656501432152064 The talented pair also created history by becoming the first doubles team from Kildare to win an All-Ireland title, while Leah is the the first Kildare handballer to taste national success in the singles and doubles code, having wrapped up her own All-Ireland Minor Championship success last month.
