Kildare    1-9 London   0-6 Christy Ring Cup final Jack Sheridan’s goal just before half-time has put Kildare in a strong position against 14-man London as the Lilywhites look to claim the Christy Ring Cup title. It has been a fine performance so far from Joe Quaid’s men who have dominated most areas of the pitch, and they are full value for their six-point lead. James Burke has been the heaviest scorer for the Leinster side as he’s chipped in with five points, with just one of those coming from a free, while Brian Byrne, Kevin Whelan, Eanna O’Neill and Paul Divilly have also landed scores. London have relied on Aaron Sheahan’s free-taking, but they were reduced to 14 men when corner-back Lee Murphy was sent off following Sheridan’s 34th minute goal. A full report and reaction will come on KildareNow at full-time.
