Former Kildare U20 manager Davy Burke speaks out on all things GAA

Davy Burke

Wicklow senior football manager and former Kildare All-Ireland winning U20 boss, Davy Burke is in the hot seat this week for the Leinster Leader's Big Interview.

From All-Ireland success with Kildare to club success with Sarsfields; from operating at club level to moving into the inter-county scene as he recalls his first year in the Garden County and his hopes and aspirations for 2021.

On the proposed split decision he says 'The GAA stumbled on the way forward';

What the lockdown meant in his first season with Wicklow; his thoughts on Meath and Dublin.

How he thinks the Tailteann Cup will fare out.

And while he makes no secret of his Kildare credentials he emphasises he is 'very happy in Wicklow, but down the road ... well' we'll see'

All that and much more from the popular Confey man.

All in this week's Leinster Leader in the shops Tuesday morning.
