Eoin Doyl to lead Naas management team for the remainder of the season
The row at Naas GAA that has seen senior football manager, Paul Kelly, step away from his role just a week before they are due to take on Maynooth in the Joe Mallon (Renault) Motors Senior Football Championship this Saturday afternoon, has moved on with the club confirming this morning (Monday October 18) in a short statement that stated "Naas GAA have put in place a player led management team, managed by Eoin Doyle, for the remainder of the season."
End of statement.
The current county man and former Kildare captain, it is understood, will be assisted by the present team captain and former county star Eamonn Callaghan.
It is also understood that while a few others have agreed to lend a hand, for training purposes, team selection will rest between Eoin Doyle and Eamonn Callaghan.
