A huge crowd turned out at Hawkfield COE on Saturday for Kildare GAA's Meet & Greet Day at which young (and not so young) mingled with the county footballers and hurlers in bright sunshine.
Jersey signing, autograph hunters, selfies with their favourite stars was the order of the day as fans got up close and personal with players, managers, selectors and backroom folk from the various teams.
It was also the day of the official launch of the Kildare GAA 100km Walk during Lent which will benefit all county teams.
Already the fund-raising event has raised over €20,000 of its stated aim of €100,000. To get involved, sign-up and/ or donate check out www.kildaregaa.ie.
