Sunny bank holiday weekend on the way for Kildare

Time to break out the sandals and shorts and dust off the BBQs as Met Eireann has predicted that this weekend will be dry with temperatures to reach around 19 degrees.

Experts at Irish Weather Online are also predicting that the thermometer could soar as high as 20 C.
Weather conditions in Kildare have been generally dry and sunny since Thursday.
Temperatures reached 14 or 15 degrees Celsius yesterday and were also close to that level today.
The hottest of the year in many areas was April 18 last when 20 degrees was reached.
Not bad given it was just a few weeks after the heaviest snowfall in Kildare in almost 40 years - and another snowfall the day after St Patrick's Day!
Many people are still wondering when weather conditions will settle and the summer will start.
The official Met Eireann forecast for the May Bank Holiday says: "A warm front will move up over Ireland on Thursday bringing in milder weather for the rest of the week and over the weekend.
"There will be some bright weather too, best in the east of the country.
"Temperatures will in the mid teens Celsius, and into the high teens in sunny areas."
