The Sunday Game pundit Pat Spillane heaps praise on Kildare footballers

The Sunday Game pundit Pat Spillane has lavished praise on Kildare's footballers - both at senior and under 20 level.
The 8-time All Ireland winner is know for his controversial and often critical views - also suggested he would love to manage the senior Lilywhites team if there was a vacancy.
He told host Des Cahill that the future is bright for Kildare football in the wake of the fantastic success of the U20s winning the All Ireland Final.
Spillane said: "They've had great success at Minor level the past few years and it's now come through to under 20 level.
"I saw them in the Leinster Final against Dublin - they were brilliant. They beat a very-fancied Kerry team in the semi-final.
"Watch this guy Jimmy Hyland at Corner Forward. He's one of the best forwards I've seen at this level. They're a brilliant team."
He added: "
"I've always said if I ever got the chance to manage a county - it's Kildare!
"Because I just think they have so much - their physicality, their athleticism, and they have so many natural footballers. You can see a conveyor belt coming through. Well done to them. "
