Thousands of euros unclaimed in Co Kildare Garda station going to charities

Thousands of euros of money unclaimed from Garda stations throughout the county, some dating back to 2007, is being donated to charities.

Following 'substantial efforts' by Gardai, Supt Martin Walker announced at Naas District Court today that €706. 40 will go to Pieta House,

€500 to St Brigid's Hospice and €500 to Rossconnell Estate, the Garda Childrens' Project.
