Three Kildare restaurants make it into Top 100 on island of Ireland

Three Co Kildare restaurants have made it into the Top 100 list chosen by top food critics.

John and Sally McKenna travelled the length and breadth of the island to choose the best.

Harte's in Kildare Town was joined by The Ballymore Inn in Ballymore Eustace and Canteen in Celbridge.

The judges said they wanted to find venues which were original, creative and delicious to eat.

The comprehensive guide was published in The Sunday Times newspaper.
