Two men arrested after drugs worth €363,300 seized in Tallaght

Gardaí from the Tallaght Drugs unit have seized a large stash of heroin with an estimated street value of €363,300 following a search of a house.

As part of an on-going operation into the sale and supply of controlled substances in the Tallaght area, Gardaí from the Tallaght Drugs unit assisted by the local Detective unit searched a house at Russell Green, Tallaght on the 14 December 2017.

During the course of the search of the house and a car Gardaí discovered heroin with a street value of approximately €363,300(subject to analysis) and Zopiclone with an approximate street value of €8,600(subject to analysis).

Two men aged 31 and 24 years were arrested and are being detained at Tallaght Garda station under the provisions section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.
