VIDEO: Boxer dog 'Molly' rescued from River Liffey by Kildare Fire Service
19:00 Thursday 5th of April 2018

KWWSPCA would like to say thanks to the Kildare Fire Service for their bravery and generosity in rescuing a stranded dog on Wednesday.

Molly, a Boxer cross looking currently looking for a home -  jumped before she looked during a walk.

She fell 20 feet into the Liffey.

See the Video HERE:

Molly swam to some debris under the bridge and stayed there.

Thanks to a kind passerby for calling the fire crew, Molly was safely rescued.

Molly seems to be invincible as she passed her vet check after the ordeal with flying colours.

The KWWSPCA said: "Many many many thanks again to our Fire Service for saving our Molly. Real hero’s don’t need capes!!!"
