Watch this video of two young Galway men showing incredible stupidity in the face of a storm

As Storm Desmond rips through the country with high winds and heavy rain, Gardai and emergency services are pleading with people to take extra care in whatever they do today.

These two youngsters in Galway clearly didn't get the message as they showed little hesitation in jumping from the Salthill pier in Galway into a violent looking sea with massive waves crashing off the pier amidst high winds.

To their credit, both lads look like pretty strong swimmers as they made light work of getting back to the pier but it was still an incredibly stupid thing to do.
