The weekend is forecast to to be sunny and mild with temperatures of 16 degrees forecast - about double the seasonal norm for this time of year.
However experts are predicting a cold spell at the start of March.
Meanwhile, Tuesday will stay rather cool until late afternoon or evening, slowly rising to about 9 C.
However rainfall of up to 10-15 mm is expected with winds rising to 80 km/hr.
Temperatures will improve on Thursday with a maximum forecast of 15 degrees Celsius as we see a sunny and very mild day.
Saturday and Sunday will see more dry and mild conditions with temperature highs of 13 to 16 C.
However forecasters are predicting the mild weather to take an icy turn within the following few days.
Irish Weather Online experts said: "A colder spell is likely just around the end of the month into the first week to ten days of March.
"Temperatures may fall gradually to levels slightly below average at times."
