'She is trying to make me react to her'

A woman sent her husband threatening emails, it was alleged at Naas District Court by him.

The man also said that he went to gardaí after receiving an email.

He also told Judge Desmond Zaidan that the woman, who has a protection order against him, claimed that he was following her.

He applied for a protection order himself and said that  his work van is parked near where the man lives and his “medical stuff” is in the same area - arguing that it is necessary for him to be in that location.

He also alleged that she said she had pictures of him in that area and gave a list of dates and times.

The man alleged that she had “people following me.”

The man further alleged the woman, who was not present or represented, had an affair with someone to break up the marriage.

It was further claimed that the woman was outside his address and "did a u-turn.”

He told the court that “she is trying to make me react to her.”

Judge Zaidan granted an interim protection order and adjourned the case to April 13.
