Work begins on next phase of €31.3M housing development in Naas that will deliver almost 250 homes

Work is continuing on a major housing project in Naas that will deliver almost 250 new homes by the time it is completed.

Ballymore Group, a large investment company headed up by Sean Mulryan, have moved onto the site at Pipers Hill, Kilashee, Naas, this week as they begin the next phase of a development that will consist of 243 new homes when it is completed.

This part of the overall €31.3 million development will see the construction of 41 new homes, with all of the 243 houses planned to be completed by June 2019.

Overall planning allows for the construction of 60 house two storey three-bedroom semi-detached houses, 88 two storey four-bedroom semi-detached houses and 31 two storey four-bedroom detached houses.

There will be 26 larger two storey four-bedroom homes in the development included in the final development, along with eight smaller two storey four-bedroom homes. There will also be a number of other houses built, including three, four and five-bedroom detached houses.

A single storey crèche will also be built on the site.
