Workmen have blocked up the front door and windows of the derelict farmhouse where Leixlip teen Ana Kriegel met her death more than a week ago.

No arrests have been made yet.

The body of the 14-year-old Confey College student was found inside the building in St Catherine's Park on May 16.

The Irish Daily Star reports today that Gardai have now finished their work examining the horrific crime scene, which was a popular hangout spot for local teenagers.

The Star published photos by photographer Gary Ashe showing workers sealing up the property by laying concrete bricks in the door and window spaces.

The GoFundMe page has been set up to raise money for the family at this very sad and hard time.

Detectives have established that the schoolgirl suffered a sexual assault — and they suspect she was killed by someone she knew.

Gardai have questioned two teenage boys who were the last people known to be with her on the day she disappeared.

One of those spoken to by officers — a 13-year-old boy — told them he was attacked by two men close to the derelict farmhouse where Ana was murdered.

Two books of condolence have been opened for Ana in Lucan Library and the Council building in Tallaght.
