Young Dublin man loses battle for life several months after hit & run

A 27 year old male seriously injured in a hit and run collision in  Dublin several months ago has died. On  the R127, Skerries to Loughshinny Road, Co Dublin in the early hours of the Tuesday, December 27 2016, the man was injured. He  was pronounced dead on Friday last, at Beaumont Hospital.

Gardaí at Balbriggan Co Dublin wish to renew their appeal for information in relation to this hit and run collision.

Investigating Gardai are particularly anxious to speak to anyone who may have observed the movements of a  Blue VW Transporter Van 06-C-***** which left Strand Street, Skerries sometime after 1.30am on the December 27,2016 and travelled on the R128 towards Loughshinny.
