Young man loses life on Co Clare road accident this morning

During the early hours of this morning a 30-year-old man lost his life on a Co Clare road.

Gardaí at Miltown Malbay,  Co Clare are investigating the single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Caherogan at approximately 4.15am this morning.

A 30-year-old male rear seat passenger was fatally injured when the car he was travelling in collided with a bridge at the above location. A 28-year-old male driver  and front seat female passenger 26yrs were injured and have been taken to University Hospital in Limerick.

The stretch of road is closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
