A unique event will be taking place on Sunday afternoon in Naas GAA club as two title winning teams sit down with each other for a special afternoon tea in the clubhouse.
The county title winning side of 1959 were the last team to bring back Kildare Senior Camogie Championship honours to the club until the crop of 2018 defied the odds this year to dethrone reigning champions Johnstownbridge, and put a stop to their dreams of winning a fourth All-Ireland title in a row.
All surviving members of the 1959 team were contacted by the club and up to 12 of them will be present to celebrate their own achievements and the success of the latest group of championship winners almost 60 years later.
All are welcome to attend the event which is taking place at 2.30pm on Sunday afternoon in the Naas GAA clubhouse.
