All roads lead to Navan tonight as Kildare minors seek fourth successive Leinster final place

While the Kildare senior side will not feature in a Leinster final for the seventh year in succession, the Kildare minor side have the chance tonight to mark a significant achievement of featuring in four provincial finals on the bounce.
The current champions face Meath in Páirc Tailteann, Navan, this evening, and throw-in is scheduled for 7.30pm. The Royals have a talented minor team this year, which was proven by their 10-point demolition of Meath in the Leinster quarter-final on May 21.
On the same day, Kildare easily accounted for a well below par Westmeath side at the quarter-final stage, while the Lilywhites also blew Wicklow away in the opening round of the championship.
They are aiming to secure their third Leinster title in four years this season, and a victory tonight would set up a final meeting with either Laois or Offaly in 10 days time.
Meath have named their side for tonight's clash, but there has been no word from the Kildare camp about what the starting team will be.
KildareNow will be reporting live from Páirc Tailteann this evening to bring you all the action as it happens.
