The British and Irish Lions are scheduled to undergo a training camp in Kildare ahead of their upcoming tour of New Zealand in June, with Carton House believed to be the venue for the camp.
Wales Online rugby correspondent Simon Thomas has reported that the north Kildare hotel will be one of two places where the Lions will be put through their paces, with the other camp set to be held at The Vale resort near Cardiff.
I hear the Lions are going to have training camps at The Vale and in County Kildare, as in 2013. Head start for those not involved in finals

Warren Gatland brought the Lions to Carton House before their successful summer tour of Australia in 2013, where they spent five days in preparation from May 20-24 for their jaunt down under. Nothing has been confirmed in regards to where they will be carrying out their training camps this year, but Lions' coaches usually try to stick to a successful template if at all possible, and the fact that they won the series after staying in Kildare last time out means that it's highly likely that they will return.
Large crowds will likely descend upon the large estate near Maynooth in the even that a training camp does take place there, with 11 Irish players involved and five Leinster men being picked in the squad to tour the home of the world champions.
