Bryce try helps Naas secure superb away day victory and keep pressure on the top 3

UL Bohemians 24
Naas RFC 27
Ulster Bank AIL Division 1B round 11
Naas travelled to UL on Saturday afternoon with the daunting task of taking on second placed Bohemians in their own backyard, but they emerged with a stunning win thanks to tries from Peter Howard, Rob O'Connor and Henry Bryce, while the trusty boot of Peter Osborne was also a catalyst in a remarkable win.
Having trailed by 10-0 early on, Naas managed to get a foothold in the game when Peter Howard crossed over the whitewash for a 13th minute try, while Peter Osborne duly slotted over the conversion to narrow the gap to three.

It took just 10 more minutes for the visitors to race into the lead as Rob O'Connor continued his fine form by racing over for the game's third try, and Osborne again added the extras. Another try from UL brought them back into contention, but another Osborne penalty levelled matters up at 17-17 once again.
Henry Bryce's try 25 minutes from time gave Naas a great platform to build towards victory, and another finely struck penalty from Osborne stretched the gap to 10 points as the Kildare side continued to build on their momentum.

UL struck back with a try to set up a nervy finish, but Naas held on to win by three points and ensure that they remain in contention for promotion to Division 1A in what would be one of the most remarkable achievements of recent times in Irish club rugby.
