Cian O'Neill has made three changes to his Kildare team for the final round league game against Galway on Sunday afternoon.

In comes Mark Hyland, Jimmy Hyland and Paul Cribbin, while Mick O'Grady, Ben McCormack and Niall Kelly all drop out of the starting side. It will be a first league start for Ballyteague forward Hyland, who has featured off the bench for O'Neill's men during this campaign.

Kildare will be looking to at least end the league on somewhat of a positive note despite having their relegation confirmed away to Kerry last weekend, and a win in Newbridge would at least give the Lilywhites something to work with ahead of the championship. They have lost all six games so far and will finish bottom of Division 1 no matter what happens on Sunday.

Galway have already qualified for this year's league final after winning all bar one of their games, with the only blot on their copybook a draw against All-Ireland champions Dublin. They will face the Metropolitans in the league final next Sunday.
