This weekend's Kildare Senior Football Championship fixtures for Round 2
Round 2 of the Joe Mallon Motor Senior Football Championship runs from Friday, September 4 to Sunday, September 6
It was a lot of results as expected in the first round of the Joe Mallon Motors SFC with wins for each of last year’s semi-finalists; Naas, Sarsfields, Celbridge and county champions Athy. See the full fixtures list for Round 2 below.
Maynooth, Raheens and Eadestown were the others team to pick up wins with both Rainbow’s charges and Eadestown leaving it late to pick up two points while Maynooth gave one of their best Championship showings for some time against Caragh.
Among those looking for a response after Round 1 disappointment will be Moorefield, newly-promoted Sallins as well as Clane and Johnstownbridge, who drew with one another.
