Two Mile House 1-7

Shamrocks 0-4

Leinster IFC final

Two Mile House are well in control at half-time in their first ever appearance in a Leinster Intermediate Football Championship final as they lead Shamrocks of Offaly by six points.

The Kildare champions have been absolutely dominant in every sector of the field, with Caomhan Doolan and Nathan Sherry starring in defence, while Chris Healy and Peter Kelly have been superb further up the field.

The major breakthrough came on 16 minutes when Conor Keogh finished off a brilliant team move to net the only goal of the half. Chris Healy, who set up that goal, has scored three points from play, while Aidan Casey has also chipped in with three scores as well.

Nigel Dunne’s three points has kept Shamrocks in the hunt, and they have the aid of a strong wind in the second half which should be worth a few points at least.
