Kildare duo James Tracy and Fergus McFadden have been handed contract extensions by European champions Leinster on the back of their impressive seasons.

26-year-old Kill man Tracy came on as a second half replacement in the nervy 15-12 win over Racing 92 in Bilbao last weekend, while McFadden was unable to feature in the game after his season was ended with a hamstring injury.

The Suncroft man did impress throughout the campaign however, and he also featured in Ireland's Grand Slam run in the spring.

Jordan Larmour has also signed his first professional contract with the province, who today announced 21 contract extensions in total.

Ica Nacewa will be retiring at the end of the season, while Cathal Marsh, Peadar Timmins and Jordi Murphy have all been confirmed as departures from the province at the end of this season.

There was no announcement made on the future of Athy man Joey Carbery, who has been linked with a move to Ulster ahead of next season.
