Kildare ladies side named ahead of first home fixture of 2017

Kildare manager Morgan O'Callaghan has chosen to stick with the same side for the reigning All-Ireland champions first home game of 2016 as he avoids the temptations of mixing things up following last Sunday's loss to Laois.

The stand-in manager oversaw his first game as Kildare lost out to the O'Moore County ladies by 2-11 to 2-9 last Sunday, but it was a fine performance from the Lilywhites who were unlucky to leave Annanough without something to show for.

They host Tyrone in St Conleth's Park this Sunday, with the Red Hands looking to build on their positive start to the league by following up their opening day win at home to Sligo with another victory against Kildare.

Throw-in is scheduled for 2pm in Newbridge.
