Kildare's Leinster trio all miss out on Champions Cup selection due to injury
14:10 Friday 12th of January 2018

Kildare's young Leinster contingent have all missed out on a place in Leo Cullen's squad this weekend for their Champions Cup game against Glasgow Warriors at the RDS.

James Tracy, Adam Byrne and Joey Carbery are all absent following recent injury struggles. Kill hooker Tracy is sidelined for around five weeks after dislocating his elbow in the recent Pro14 win over Ulster, meaning his chances of appearing in the opening rounds of the Six Nations have been cast into doubt.

Byrne has been absent for some time now due to a knee injury that is still being monitored, while Carbery is still on the comeback trail following the fracture of his left wrist against Fiji in the November internationals.

It is still an exciting Leinster side however, and Suncroft's Fergus McFadden joins the talented duo of Jordan Larmour and James Lowe in the back three.

Isa Nacewa captains the side from inside centre for the 1pm kick-off on Sunday.
