Kildare's Moolick returns to action while Niall Kelly stars to help UCD into Sigerson Cup semi-final

Kildare manager Cian O'Neill has received a boost as one of Kildare's best performers from last year's championship campaign returned to action for his college today.
Tommy Moolick was a 56th minute substitute for UCD as the Dublin outfit secured their place in the Sigerson Cup semi-finals with a 3-11 to 1-9 victory over UCC in the Mardyke in Cork this afternoon.
Moolick hasn't featured for the Lilywhites or UCD this year as he has struggled with injury, but the Leixlip clubman came on with 15 minutes to join Athy duo David Hyland and Niall Kelly in a star-studded UCD line-up.
Hyland played at wing-back for the visitors, while Kelly was one of the stars for UCD as he scored two fine points from his corner-forward berth.
DCU and IT Carlow meet in the final quarter-final tie of the round and there will be strong interest from a Kildare perspective in that game too. The reigning champions have midfielder Kevin Feely among their ranks, and he will be pivotal to their chances this evening following his return from injury against Offaly last Sunday. The Athy man has been used at full-back for the North Dublin college for much of this year, although his starring performance for his county on Sunday may have swayed Niall Moyna into placing him further out the field.
Two Mile House duo Mark Sherry and Chris Healy should feature for Carlow, who will be massive underdogs to claim a win on their home patch. The Kildare men are two of Carlow's star players, with U21 Kildare panelist Healy scoring particularly well for the college this season.
