Kildare and Sligo have gone into the half-time break at 0-7 apiece here in St Conleth's after the Lilywhites conceded three late points in the first half to allow their opponents to reach parity.

Early scores from Niall Kelly, Tommy Moolick and Éanna O'Connor helped Kildare into a 0-3 to 0-1 lead after 10 minutes, but Niall Murphy was pegging the Lilywhites back at the other end with a superb display of free-taking.

Points from Padraig O'Neill, Adam Tyrell, Matty Byrne and O'Connor put Kildare three points to the good, but a further free from Murphy and a brace of points from Pat Hughes has left the scores level at the interval.
